Foreign trade deficit of Lithuania increased 2.5 times in July y-o-y

Statistics Lithuania reports that, based on non-final data obtained from customs declarations and Intrastat reporting data, exports in July 2010 amounted to LTL 4.5 billion, imports – LTL 5.4 billion. Foreign trade deficit of Lithuania amounted to LTL 0.9 billion, which is 2.5 times higher than in July 2009. The deficit increase was determined by a significant increase in imports of crude oil.
