German companies in the Baltic States perceive slight economic upward trend

In spite of current crisis nine out of ten companies would repeat their investment decision for Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania. After a hard and difficult year 2009, German companies operating in the Baltic States have cautiously optimistic expectations for the future. Due to the expected improvement of the overall economic situation, German companies in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are planning to increase their investment and number of employees. However, the business environment and the conditions for doing business are still being considered as problematic.
