National Broadcasting proposes switching to digital format in April in Riga and in June in Latvia

The National Broadcasting Council is planning to put off transition to digital broadcasting until April 1, 2010, in Riga and the vicinity of Riga, and until June 1 in the rest of Latvia, as the Broadcasting Council's deputy chairwoman Dace Buceniece said today after a meeting at the Transport Ministry, where representatives from the ministry, the Broadcasting Council, Latvian State Radio and Television Center and Lattelecom took part....
