Rail freight in Latvia down, but road haulage up

Rail freight carried in Latvia decreased 10.3% in a year, but road haulage increased 32.4% in the first half. Latvian Railways carried 25.3 mln tons of freight in the first half, according to the Central Statistical Bureau. Freight transport by road amounted to 20.5 mln tons or 32.4% more than a year earlier. ...
