Straujuma: farm aid should only go to active farmers
During a meeting of the European Union's agriculture and fisheries ministers in Brussels yesterday, Latvian Agriculture Minister Laimdota Straujuma said that only those farmers who actually produce something should receive aid payments, and the so-called "couch farmers" should be excluded from the aid scheme, informs LETA/Nozare.lv....
