Arranging and convening round tables on contemporary EU-Baltics issues have become a tradition between our Baltic Course magazine and the Baltic International Academy in Riga, Latvia. The recent one, which took place on 21 November this year, was devoted to an interesting and urgent socio-political problem, i.e. the role, functions and developmental perspectives for the trade unions in the Baltics and in Latvia, in particular.
